As Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday this year, New Place Hotel has announced a special weekend for couples looking to enjoy a romantic retreat.
This February, New Place Hotel’s beautiful listed Edwardian Manor House and glorious 32 acre estate will be using its magic and charm to celebrate all things romantic with a special Valentine’s Day weekend.
On the Friday 14th and Saturday 15th February, guests choosing to stay either one or two nights will be invited to enjoy the hotel’s leisure facilities, lounge bar and woodland walks, as well as complimentary prosecco and chocolates upon arrival in specially decorated rooms.
The restaurant has planned a special four course, fine dining Valentine’s menu, which includes options of sharing platters, will be providing full breakfast menus on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and is able to cater for all dietary requirements.
‘With the house’s unique history, manicured lawns, woodland backdrop and even connections to the playwright of so many romances, William Shakespeare, New Place Hotel has always been a popular choice for weddings all year round,’ says General Manager, Richard Powell. ‘However, the opportunity to have a Valentine’s Weekend has allowed us to really turn up the romance for couples wanting to take some time out for each other.’
A one night stay at New Place over Valentine’s Weekend will cost £175 per couple with two nights costing £249 per couple. Dinner, breakfast, accommodation and leisure facilities all included.
