There were huge celebrations here at New Place Hotel when, over the summer, we won the category for ‘Service Excellence’ at the South Coast Business Awards 2019.
Though customer service is the bedrock of any successful hospitality enterprise, to be awarded from competition across the entire spectrum of the South Coast’s business community was a source of great pride and delight.
It is also testimony to the dedication and hard work across the entire team at New Place over the past 18 months. We have been on a purposeful drive to ensure high standards of service by developing processes to share knowledge and feedback from our guests, whilst managing and celebrating the success of the first year of our ‘New Place Hospitality Academy’ dedicated to staff development.
As a result, our guest satisfaction scores have risen to over 90% and we have minimum 4 star ratings from over 3,0000 online reviews across websites including Google, Facebook and Trip Advisor.
This is an award that everyone, from food & beverage to sales & events, reception to maintenance, played their part in and is reflective of results from focus and improvements that have excelled our highest expectation.
Congratulations to all our staff, thank you to all our guests (especially, in this instance, those who have taken the time to give us feedback and reviews) and we look forward to continuing our journey to maintain our position as offering the best service on the South Coast.
