New Place Hotel WINS Community Award at the Southampton Hospitality Awards 2020
On Friday 7th February 2020 New Place Hotel won the Community Award 2020, at the recent Southampton Hotel Awards sponsored by commercial radio station Wave 105 & voted for by their listeners.
The Award was hotly contested, with nominees from Best Western Chilworth Manor Hotel as well as Mercure Southampton Centre Dolphin Hotel. All three were posted on the Wave 105 website & listeners had the opportunity to vote for their favourite & win a dinner, bed & breakfast stay at each of the hotels!
New Place was awarded the trophy because of its Community events including a Family Fun Day event as well as the significant amount of work done in their in-house training scheme “New Place Academy” where any level of staff are encouraged to enhance their personal career with professional qualifications.
